Q. Can I pay per lesson?
A. Pay-per-Lesson service is available for clients who would like instruction on an as-needed basis. This type of instruction is typically recommended for collegiate level players who have regular professional training and are looking to brush up their skills in the off season.

Q. What kind of payment does Court’s 1 on 1 accept?
A. Court’s 1 on 1 accepts Visa, MasterCard, cash, and checks. If paying by cash or check, please bring payment to your first lesson along with your registration form (available here). Do not send these items in the mail!

A. Registration slots for all programs are given out on a first come-first serve basis. In order to preserve the integrity of our program and deliver a high quality service, we have a set number of time slots for weekly instructional lessons and spaces in our camp programs.

A. Learning, growth, and achieving one’s goals is something that takes place over time. By providing our education system in blocks, we are able to establish realistic goals with each player and deliver them through powerful weekly lessons that focus on consistent improvement.
Q. Will Courtney be the instructor for my lesson?
A. Depending on the skill set being delivered for a specific lesson, Courtney may be your instructor for a specific lesson. Because our programs are focused on maximizing each student’s growth potential, Court’s 1 on 1 assigns expert coaches to instruct students based on their area of expertise. (Shaq may be a great post player, but you wouldn’t want him teaching you how to shoot foul shots!)
Q. How do I know if the practice location will be convenient for me?
A. Upon registration you will receive a phone call from Court’s 1 on 1 Sports to setup your practice dates, times, and location. We currently have practice locations in Pinecrest, South Miami, Coral Gables, and Miami Beach.

Q. How do I know how many lessons I have left on my package?
A. You will receive an e-mail update every four weeks that tells you how many lessons you have left. If you don’t want to wait for the e-mail, you can always call (305)926-7899 to check how many lessons you have left.
Q. Do you work with people who have never played basketball?
A. We sure do! For students starting at the basic level, Court’s 1 on 1 offers instruction that teaches coordination, balance, and, of course, the game of basketball. The education received goes well beyond the lines of the basketball court. Students grow and are happier playing and participating in sports with friends and family.

A. We care about our students and know that we can maximize everyone’s potential. By taking the time to offer a no-risk complimentary lesson, we are confident that you will see how our unique instructional style will be the vehicle to your hoop dreams.
Q. Can I attend more then one practice session in one week?
A. Yes you can. Depending on your level of commitment, we allow students to take up to three practice sessions per week.
Q. What happens if I get injured during the season?
A. Injuries happen to athletes of all ages. If you are injured during the course of your package, your lesson plan will be frozen until you fully recover and can begin training again.
Q. What do I need to bring to my practice sessions?
A. We recommend that students are well hydrated and eat a substantive meal or snack an hour before their session to maximize productivity. Students should wear comfortable clothing and basketball sneakers with non-marking soles. Court’s 1 on 1 provides bottled water to all students however you are welcome to bring any sports drink that you like.
Q. Can Court’s 1 on 1 provide transportation for my son or daughter?
A. Carpool arrangements can be made between parents by visiting our message board. If you are unable to coordinate transportation with other parents, Court’s 1 on 1 can provide transportation for your son or daughter for an additional fee. Please call (305)926-7899 to arrange this service.

A. Aside from basketball instruction, Court’s 1 on 1 provides private academic tutoring for clients.
